Video 1.0: Getting Started with an Agency Account

In this video we walk through setting up your first client and an app for that client.

Notes and Step by Step:

  1. Open a new browser
  2. Login as an Agency Admin at app.saaats.com or your agency URL
  3. Click on System > Organizations
  4. Click “Add New” button in the top right area of the screen
  5. Enter a name for the Organization (Your Client) > Click Save
  6. You will return to the Organizations List where you will see your new Organization
  7. Go to the right side and click the green “Go To” button > This will take you to the client view and to the App Dashboard
  8. From the App Dashboard, click “Add App”
  9. This will bring up a modal enabling you to enter your basic App information. All you need to do is give your app a name (which can be anything you choose) and the fully qualified URL. For example, Saaats.com and http://saaats.com.
  10. Enter your app info then click “Save Changes”

That’s it. You’ve successfully created a new client and added and app for this client. Watch our other videos to learn how to use all the Saaats features to manage your digital properties.

Video 1.1: Managing Users

In this video we show you how to create new users and explain the four user roles to you (Agency Admin, Agency User, Client Admin, Client User).

Notes and Step by Step:

  1. Open a new browser
  2. Login as an Agency Admin at app.saaats.com or your agency URL
  3. Click on System > Users
  4. Click “Add New” button in the top right area of the screen
  5. Enter a basic information for the user and the required email and password. They will login with their email address. Click Save
  6. You can send the user their new login information via any service you wish. Saaats does not automatically email the new user.

The rest of the user related functions are pretty obvious and straight forward. Remember the roles:

  • Agency Admin: Can do anything. Create and manage clients, users, apps, and tickets. They can also modify the FAQ shown to your clients.
  • Agency User: Can manage tickets and scans for all clients and apps. Cannot modify users or organizations.
  • Client Admin: Can see and manage their own apps and tickets via the Client views. Can add and remove client users.
  • Client User: Can see and manage their own apps and tickets via the Client views.
